Azerbaijani-Estonian business-forum takes place

An Azerbaijani-Estonian business-forum, arranged by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economic Development and Azerbaijan Export and Investments Encouragement Fund (AZPROMO) was held in Tallinn (Estonia).

 

The due information has been provided by the press service for the Fund.

President of Estonia's Trade and Industrial Chamber Siim Raie and its Minister of Economic Cooperation and Communications Juhan Parts informed the forum participants about the economic situation in Estonia.

Azerbaijan's Minister of Economic Development Heydar Babayev touched upon the economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Estonia.

President of Azerbaijan Export and Investments Encouragement Fund Emil Medjidov noted that Azerbaijan has prospects for investments.

The Azerbaijani delegation is composed of government officials, as well as representatives of 7 companies, operating in the agricultural, banking, financial and industrial spheres.

Nearly 40 Estonian entrepreneurs attended the event.

Later the representatives of both countries held bilateral business meetings.

A contract on cooperation was signed by results of the meeting between Azerbaijani Ineks LTD and Estonian Krimelte while a memorandum of creation of a new investment fund of Azerbaijan was signed between the investment company of Azerbaijan and Estonian Gild Bankers and Estonian Caspian Group.
